Annual Membership Fees
SCBCH has two categories of membership (detailed below). Membership fees in either category run on an anniversary date every 12 months, not by calendar year. Membership begins the first day of the month in which the member joins. A member is considered an organization that has paid the appropriate fee and supports the mission of SCBCH.
Category 1: Includes employers, hospitals, physician groups, broker/consultants, pharmaceutical companies and all other organizations not in Category 2.
Fees: $20 per regular employee in SC- does not include temporary employees
- Minimum $2,000
- Maximum $20,000
The fees for Category 1 are 50 % less for those members whose corporate office is not located in the state of SC.
Category 2: Includes health plans and third party administrators (TPAs)
Fees: $20 per regular employee in SC- does not include temporary employees
- Minimum $10,000
- Maximum $20,000
